If you have ever seen a Danny McBride film, you probably have an idea how this movie go. Again, he has done a funny and raunchy comedy full of sex jokes, getting high and being a loser who transforms to a man by the end of the movie. This time around he is prince Thadeous who plays all day while his brother Fabious (James Franco) goes out completing quests, being a hero.

While Fabious goes out on his latest quest he saves Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), a virgin imprisoned by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux). The two decide to get married but, Leezar steals her back h as he needs the virgin Belladonna to “fuck her for some dragon” when the moons align. Anyways, to make a long story short the 2 brothers go out together to save Belladonna and while out they meet Isabel (Natalie Portman) who also wants to kill Leezar. I think you can piece together the rest of the movie from that.

Your Highness attacks the viewer with cheap shot raunchy jokes that will keep you laughing. I enjoyed the humor in the movie but, at the same time I felt dumb that such toilet humor could make me laugh. In my opinion none of the actors showed their full talent as they supported Danny McBride to deliver all the punch lines in the film.

This review of Your Highness sounds as if I dislike Danny McBride and his movies but, I actually do enjoy them. It is a movie that one can watch with minimal attention , a no brainer, and sometimes that’s just what I need.
