Cartoon metallers Dethklok have announced that they have dropped of the Canadian Heavy TO/Heavy MTL festivals happening this month. Luckily The Dillinger Escape Plan has taken over their spots. The festivals organizers issued the following statement : “Heavy T.O. is sorry to announce that due to a scheduling conflict related to the cancellation of Lamb Of God‘s tour, Dethklok will no longer be able to perform at Heavy T.O. and Heavy MTL on August 11th and 12th.

We are happy to announce that The Dillinger Escape Plan has been added to both festivals’ lineups. The band will play at Heavy T.O. on Saturday, August 11th and at Heavy MTL on Sunday, August 12th.”

Sad to see Dethklok not make it this year but The Dillinger Escape Plan do kick alot of ass. It’s like trading 12 for a dozen.
